Taking place at The Yoga Room, we have 75 minutes of selected movement and intention to suit a varying weekly theme throughout the start of the year, with power options and allocated time to move freely and work on your own self practice within a safe (and warm!) space. Each week you will have a opportunity to progress and tap into your individual energy levels with both ease and effort encouraged - linking wonderfully with the Float and Fly workshop running alongside the sessions.

Power is taken and held in many different ways, and that is completely up to you.

Welcome to the Upside Down @ The Yoga Room

A welcoming, playful workshop for all abilities. Whether you already spend time on your head, or have never tried - we are looking at the building the foundations to introduce or develop  your inversion and arm balance practice. We will look at headstands (or more if you like!) in a safe setting, utilising assists and props to help you enhance your inversions safely or learn the very basics. Inversions are generally a posture where our feet are above our heart, so happy baby qualifies! We will focus on 3 varied arm balances in a flow setting, followed by an opportunity to play, be curious and explore a style that suits you. The session will also include seated meditation, breath and bhanda awareness as well as a super indulgent Savasana.
